GENERAL
Thank you for your interest in Caribquest, which we are positive you will
enjoy. The house is owned privately and was chosen as their retreat in
the Caribbean sun. Our office is on call 24 hours per day, with calls
after business hours automatically answered. You will be visited regularly
by our representative who will be happy to assist you in various arrangements
to ensure your stay in Barbados is enjoyable. We therefore look forward
to doing business with you and, more so, making your holiday in Barbados
relaxing so that you would wish to continue returning to this Island in
the Sun.
FOOD PACKAGES
Pre-ordered food packages can be arranged which will provide a meal on
arrival. These Standard food packs contain basic necessities for breakfast
and a main meal. The cost of these are approximately US$215. Should you
wish, we would be happy to provide an itemised list of the Food Pack for
your consideration. Generally the supermarkets in Barbados are well stocked.
CAR HIRE
This can be arranged through this office and current prices range from
approximately US$335 per week for a mini-moke to US$390 per week for a
5 seater automatic sedan or 6 seater van, and US$420 for an air conditioned
sedan (this price is inclusive of insurance coverage). Driving permits
must be secured locally at the cost of US$5. These permits are issued
by the vehicle rental company on presentation of a valid licence by drivers
over 21 year of age. Vehicles will be delivered to Caribquest shortly
after your arrival, or at the airport on require. Please note these rates
are approximate rates and are therefore subject to change.
TRANSFERS
Upon request, arrangements will be made for you to be met at the Airport
by a taxi which will take you to your accommodation, and take you back
to the Airport at the end of your holiday. The cost of this service is
approximately US$60 - $200 per taxi round trip depending on the number
of people in the party.
DEPARTURE TIMES
A mid-day departure time applies. Where circumstances permit, allowances
are usually made for late departures.
BOOKING PROCEDURE
A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. We ask that you note
that the fully invoice should be settled 60 days prior for Winter Bookings
and 30 days prior to arrival for Summer Bookings. Please note that your
deposit will only be accepted if the accommodation is available. If bookings
are made less than 60 days prior to arrival in Winter and 30 days prior
in Summer, full payment must be made at the time of booking by wire transfer
or bank certified cheque or bank draft.
CANCELLATION POLICY
The following cancellation policy applies to all reservations cancelled
by supplier or client.

46-60 days 15-30 days 25% of rental
45 days or less 15 days or less 100% of rental
(refunds are made less any foreign exchange loss and finance charges).
Cancellation insurance should be purchased to cover the cost of cancellation
due to unforeseen circumstances, and this is recommended.
SECURITY DEPOSITS
A security deposit of US$500 is required for each booking, this deposit
is left with Caribquest Ltd. This deposit is held for a minimum of four
weeks after the clients departure from Caribquest.
CARIBQUEST
LTD MAY TERMINATE THE USE OF CARIBQUEST BY A GUEST IN THE EVENT THAT:
a. the guest or his invitees behaves in a manner which constitutes a nuisance;
b. the guest or his invitees behaves in a manner which in the opinion
of Caribquest Ltd is likely to cause damage to the house or any of the
fixtures or fittings;
c. the guest or his invitees behaves in a manner which renders it impossible
or unreasonable for Caribquest Ltd to continue to provide any of the services
to the house or to the guest or his invitees; or
d. the guest or his invitees behaves in any manner which is not consistent
with the fit and proper use of the house.
